COOPERATIVE (DEVELOP TOGETHER)
Cooperative: Develop Together. They are 30 members focusing production of organic vegetables around lake Muhazi in Rwamagana District-Rwanda. They produce Tomatoes, Cabbages and Red-paper. They are also producing organic fertilizers.
Entrepreurship Student Clud: Young Generation. These are APAGIE high school students that are doing small businesses at their school are committed to implement those business in their communities after their graduation.
This group is called Ubumwe Tilapia. They are growing 5000 tilapia at lake Muhazi in Rwamagana. YABB is also working with them to start producing fish by aquaponics so that they can produce both fish and vegetables within the same system.
Learning by doing method. YABB’s Capacity building Package is used as the principle guide to enable youths to start their own businesses through giving them required skills, training and facilities to take control of their future. It includes practical learning, handout of materials, experimental teaching metholodogy and modules that are used during the training.
